This is a Self Initiated Project that began in response to an article about Croydon Council’s plans to rebrand the town. In said article it suggested a rename to Crocus Mews which is frankly ridiculous. i think the council are missing an oppurtunity to celebrate Croydons urban heritage and make it relevant for today. I have begun by creating a logotype that is derived from shapes within the buildings. This is a work in progress with only part of the Brand System completed.
