Fuse - An Application
This animation was designed to simulate my concept for the 2008 D&AD FUSE brief. I wanted to explore a language that utilises the inherent navigation instinct within all of us as opposed to one that is reliant on a visual depiction of an aural language. Fuse 20th Edition would be an application that the user would download. One would begin to type as you would using a normal word processor but instead of the sentence being presented in the traditional linear composition it would begin to build like an environment. The user could edit their words/sentences using the backspace key. Every time they press spacebar the programme seeks a new clear site within which it can build the next word. The beauty of the application is that the user could either enforce the structure of our written language or type randomly both actions would result in the creation f an environment the only difference being in the rhythm they create.
